Peaceful Parenting: Parenting for a better world

Peaceful Parenting seems such a big word and such an impossible path: How in the world are we supposed to be peaceful in everyday situations? Where is the line between boundaries and punishment? Can we teach kids responsability when we are not giving feedback like we ourselves got it?

In our Workshop we will look at the WHY behind these questions and how we are political actors as parents and teachers – and how to solve all of the little situations with grace.

In this interactive Workshop we looked at:

• why you need to know the reasons for wanting to change the way you look at children
• how you can solve all the little situations in your life by applying a new look at them
• how you are part of societal change and how to be empowered in that

Ruth Abraham is the initiator of “Aguas da Azenha” and the founder of “DerKompass”. She writes and speaks about peaceful parenting for more than 14 years. Ruth is a cultural scientist and sociologist and a mom of 3 kids.
